Biography
Marina Hernandez is a Certified Financial Planner™, Enrolled Agent, and Global Financial Planner with a specialized focus on U.S.–Swiss cross-border planning. She founded MHTax in 2009 and Swiss American Wealth Advisors in 2020 to provide integrated tax and wealth guidance to international families seeking clarity, simplicity, and objective advice. Since 2016, Marina has served as an instructor with Tax Practice Pro and has been teaching with the Global Financial Planning Institute since 2020. She is passionate about equipping Enrolled Agents, CPAs, CFP® professionals, and other advisors with the technical expertise and practical insight needed to serve globally mobile clients, including Americans living abroad and foreign nationals relocating to the United States. Outside of her professional work, Marina supports educational initiatives for underserved children in the U.S. and South America. She also enjoys traveling with her husband to visit their children, extended family, and friends around the world.
